Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 11, 2026

Fieldera is a field service management platform operated by Trago LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("Trago LLC", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use Fieldera at fieldera.app (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and a password (stored only as a salted hash). We may also collect a phone number if you provide one.

Customer and job data. The Service exists to help you run your field operations, so you and your team will enter business data such as customer names and contact details, job sites and addresses, work orders, schedules, quotes, invoices, time entries, notes, and photos ("Customer Data"). You control what Customer Data you enter, and it belongs to you.

Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Your card number is transmitted directly to Stripe and is never stored on Fieldera's servers. We retain only non-sensitive billing records such as your plan, invoice history, and the last four digits and brand of your card as reported by Stripe. Stripe's handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.

Location data. If your company enables crew GPS tracking features, the Service collects device location data from crew members who have opted in through their device's location permission, while they are clocked in or actively using the tracking features. Location data is visible to your company's administrators and is used solely to provide dispatch, crew map, and timesheet features. You can stop sharing location at any time by revoking the device permission.

Cookies and sessions. We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and to secure your account. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Usage and log data. Like most web services, we automatically record basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps, which we use for security, debugging, and capacity planning.

2. How We Use Information

We may occasionally send product update emails. You can opt out of non-essential emails at any time; transactional emails (such as billing receipts and security notices) are sent as part of operating the Service.

3. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your Customer Data to anyone. We do not share Customer Data with third parties except for the service providers needed to operate the Service (such as Stripe for payments and our hosting providers), or where required by law.

4. Data Hosting and Security

The Service is hosted on servers located in the United States. Each company's data is logically isolated from other tenants. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are stored using industry-standard one-way hashing, and we support two-factor authentication, role-based access control, and audit logging. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using commercially reasonable safeguards.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and Customer Data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for a reasonable wind-down period so you can export it or reactivate, after which it may be deleted from our active systems and subsequently from backups. Billing records may be retained longer where required for tax and accounting purposes.

6. Your Rights

You may access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal information and your company's Customer Data at any time by emailing support@fieldera.app. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law. If you are a crew member or customer of a company that uses Fieldera, please direct requests to that company first, as they control the data they entered; we will assist them in fulfilling your request.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify account owners by email or by a notice within the Service. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest revision.
